About the Opportunity
The PMO Systems Analyst plays an important role in supporting the delivery of our strategic and capital works programs. Working closely with the Manager, PMO, you’ll help guide projects through the full lifecycle by strengthening governance, improving reporting, monitoring risks and ensuring quality, consistency and accountability across the portfolio.
You’ll take the lead in managing and enhancing our PMO systems and tools, including Power BI solutions, project management software and integrations with platforms such as TechnologyOne, Procurement, SharePoint and more. From maintaining data accuracy to designing new functionality, you’ll make sure our systems are reliable, user-friendly and aligned with the needs of project teams and stakeholders. You’ll also support change management activities, monitor early indicators of schedule, scope or budget impacts, and help drive continuous improvement across our processes and practices.
A big part of your role will involve partnering with teams across the organisation to understand their needs and lift project management capability. This includes developing training, coaching team members, refining procedures and championing innovations, including the use of AI, that make our systems smarter and our delivery more efficient. You’ll also provide high-quality information and insights that support clear communication and informed decision-making, and offer support to the Manager, PMO as required.

About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated ability to successfully collate and analyse data to identify trends, problems and successes, and to promote opportunities for improvement.
- Working knowledge of project management processes in the delivery of Capital Work projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to implement and understand application security layer models in Power BI.
- Able to develop complex multi-dimensional Power BI data models by leveraging multiple data sources.
