About the Opportunity
Rundle Mall isn’t just Australia’s busiest shopping precinct, it’s Adelaide’s town square, cultural stage and social heartbeat. In 2026, Rundle Mall turns 50, and this position sits right at the centre of that moment.
This is a rare opportunity to play a hands-on role in shaping the campaigns, events and celebrations that bring one of South Australia’s most iconic destinations to life. As Marketing and Events Coordinator, Key Projects, you’ll be part of a passionate, creative team delivering high-impact experiences seen and felt by millions of visitors - including the once-in-a-generation Rundle Mall 50th Anniversary.
Working closely with the Senior Marketing Coordinator, you’ll help turn big ideas into seamless, memorable moments. From integrated marketing campaigns and large-scale events to milestone celebrations and Precinct-wide activations, you’ll be involved end-to-end, from concept to delivery, and everything in between.
You’ll collaborate with retailers, partners, agencies, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure every activation reflects the Rundle Mall brand, creates genuine connection, and delivers real value for traders and visitors alike.
No two days will look the same. One day you might be coordinating creative assets, signage and retailer toolkits; the next you could be supporting media planning, managing budgets, liaising with agencies or helping deliver a major event live on the Mall. You’ll also support post-campaign evaluation and help measure success across some of Rundle Mall’s most important projects.
If you thrive in a fast-paced, public-facing environment, love seeing your work come to life in real time and want to help shape the experiences people remember about Adelaide, this role offers a unique chance to make your mark - right at the beating heart of the city.
