The Adelaide Central Market Authority (ACMA) has been at the heart of the city for over 150 years and continues to play a vital role in creating a vibrant, culturally rich and economically prosperous Adelaide. As part of the Corporate Services Program, reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager (ACMA), the Marketing and Content Coordinator will be an integral part of the marketing team. The Marketing & Content Coordinator will support actions to deliver the annual marketing plan and promotional activities aligning with ACMA’s Business and Strategic Plans.

 

You’ll create engaging, high-quality content and visual assets that bring the Market experience to life across digital and print channels, while supporting campaigns, events and activations that connect with the community.

 

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Create engaging content and social media plans that showcase Market traders, events and experiences
  • Adapt brand assets across digital and print using tools like Adobe InDesign and Canva
  • Plan, schedule and manage social media activity to drive engagement and audience growth
  • Contribute to delivery of integrated marketing campaigns, working with internal teams and external partners
  • Assist with the delivery of events, activations and in-Market experiences
  • Use insights, trends and performance data (including digital advertising) to optimise campaigns and content

About You

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

 

  • Strong content creation and copywriting skills, with the ability to produce engaging, high-quality content across multiple channels
  • Demonstrated experience in social media planning, content creation and delivery, with a focus on driving engagement and audience growth
  • Experience working in a retail, shopping centre, market or arts/cultural environment (highly regarded)
  • Intermediate to advanced creative skills, including graphic design and/or video or motion editing (formal qualifications not required)
  • Experience using design tools such as Adobe InDesign, Canva or similar platforms
  • Exposure to or experience with digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads and Meta Ads (desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience supporting end-to-end marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across teams and with external partners
  • An understanding of customer trends, insights and data to inform marketing activity
