About the Opportunity

As part of the Adelaide Economic Development Agency’s (AEDA) Marketing team you’ll play a key role in delivering the AEDA Marketing and Brand Strategy through the delivery of dynamic, insight-led marketing and communication initiatives.
In this hands-on role as the Marketing and Content Coordinator, you’ll create contemporary and engaging content across AEDA’s digital channels, from social media, blogs and video to email marketing, and use data insights and reporting to refine and maximise impact.
Your work will help position Adelaide as vibrant, discoverable and full of life, while supporting the delivery of both the 2024/25 - 2028/29 AEDA Strategic Plan and the 2025/26 Business Plan and Budget.
Day to day, you’ll:
- Collaborate across AEDA and City of Adelaide teams as well as external stakeholders to identify storytelling opportunities.
- Manage social media channels and drive engagement across all AEDA digital platforms
- Write high-quality, engaging web and digital content based on best practice SEO/GEO and brand guidelines
- Maintain and optimise website and digital content using a CMS (e.g. Craft or WordPress)
- Report on digital performance to inform improvements
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns using CRM platforms such as HubSpot
- Lead and deliver small projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to a high standard
- Work with the internal Graphic Designer and independently produce creative assets as required
- Brief and coordinate content creators, photographers and suppliers
- Ensure all content is delivered on time, on brand, and backed by data-driven insights.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have:
Creative & Content Skills
- Strong copywriting skills and the ability to craft compelling narratives that connect with diverse audiences
- Basic creative skills (graphic design, video or motion editing)
Digital & Technical Capability
- Experience across digital marketing channels including Meta, LinkedIn and Google Ads
- Familiarity with CRM and/or ABM (Account-Based Marketing) platforms
- Website management and marketing automation experience
- Ability to analyse data, measure ROI and optimise campaign performance
Communication & Mindest
- Proactive communicator who can connect ideas and “join the dots” across projects
- Proactive, curious and always looking for ways to improve
- Collaborative mindset, with experience working across teams and with partners
