As part of the Adelaide Economic Development Agency’s (AEDA) dynamic Marketing team you’ll play a key role in bringing the Experience Adelaide brand – our consumer-facing platform that inspires people to visit, dine, shop and spend time in the city to life.

 

In this hands-on role as the Marketing and Content Coordinator, you’ll create contemporary and engaging content for social media, blogs, email marketing, and digital channels. Your work will help Adelaide feel exciting, discoverable and full of life, while supporting the delivery of both the 2024/25 - 2028/29 AEDA Strategic Plan and the 2025/26 Business Plan and Budget.

 

Day to day, you will:

  • Collaborate across AEDA and City of Adelaide teams to support major events, retail campaigns and city activations
  • Stay across what’s on in the city and jump on timely content opportunities
  • Manage social media accounts and drive engagement across all digital platforms
  • Write and publish blogs that support visitation and discovery
  • Support eDM planning, content, and delivery of the weekly consumer newsletter
  • Develop content calendars that hero city events and businesses and strengthen the AEDA and Experience Adelaide brand
  • Work with the internal Graphic Designer and independently produce creative assets as required
  • Maintain website content to ensure listings, blogs and pages remain fresh and accurate
  • Brief and coordinate content creators, photographers and suppliers
  • Ensure all content is delivered on time, on brand, and backed by data-driven insights.

About You

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Excellent web writing skills and a creative flair for producing high-quality, engaging content.
  • Ability to produce content that adheres to overarching strategic brand guidelines (eg. tone, style and language).
  • Search engine optimisation (SEO) skills to ensure that all website content is optimised for discovery
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing end-to-end marketing and communications plans for varied audiences and channels – with a customer-centric approach.
  • Demonstrated experience editing and producing website content at scale using a content management system (CMS) such as Craft or WordPress.
  • Demonstrated experience in email marketing and the use of a CRM platform, such as HubSpot
  • Proven experience in leading small projects and delivering them to budget, on time and to quality standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships, consult and communicate across all stakeholder groups, both verbally and in writing
