About the Opportunity 
The Front of House Usher plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and safe experience for all patrons attending events at the Adelaide Town Hall. From greeting guests on arrival and assisting them to their seats, to resolving ticketing issues and ensuring the smooth flow of patrons through the venue, this role is central to delivering exceptional customer service.

 

Ushers support the overall presentation and safety of the venue by monitoring compliance with venue policies, reporting hazards or maintenance issues, and assisting during emergencies, including the safe evacuation of patrons if required. They also contribute to event operations by helping with interval service, foyer and auditorium upkeep, and providing practical support to hirers and suppliers with set-up or last-minute requests.

 

This is a varied and people-focused role that requires adaptability, teamwork and a strong customer focus to ensure every visitor enjoys their experience at the venue.

Availability

Due to the nature of the events that occur in the Adelaide Town Hall, availability during daytime is highly desirable.
