About the Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to shape how people experience work at the City of Adelaide. As the Lead, Culture and Leadership, you’ll be at the heart of building a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture that supports our people to thrive.

 

In this senior role, you’ll design, deliver and evaluate leadership development programs, guide culture and inclusion initiatives, and support our leaders to bring out the best in their teams. You’ll also play a key role in embedding our Leadership Capability Framework and ensuring our values are lived and felt across the organisation. With broad scope and autonomy, you’ll draw on your expertise in organisational development and employee engagement to create meaningful change and influence the way we work, grow and lead together.

 

Collaboration will be at the centre of your success. You’ll partner with leaders, employees and external providers to deliver programs that inspire, engage and deliver lasting outcomes. From culture surveys and pulse checks through to coaching, program design and inclusive strategies, your work will help strengthen leadership capability and shape a workplace where people feel connected, supported and motivated to succeed.

About You

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

 

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Psychology or Learning & Development and/or commensurate demonstrated experience in lieu of formal qualifications.
  • Change management skills, the ability to lead leaders and teams through cultural change and apply structured change management methodologies, utilising sound change tools when planning and implementing programs and engaging with employees.
  • Proven experience in designing & facilitating various size group workshops, online and face to face, with the ability to engage audiences and deliver innovative learning solutions.
  • Experience in applying best practice principles to the delivery of culture and leadership initiatives and monitoring and reporting on outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the administrative requirements of multi-faceted culture projects.
  • Organisational skills, the ability to successfully manage competing priorities whilst maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and operate efficiently under pressure to complete work.
