About the Opportunity
As Council Liaison & Administration Support, you'll play a key role within our Governance and Strategy Program, providing high-level administrative and executive support to Council Members. You'll coordinate a broad range of activities including diary management, meeting preparation, correspondence, stakeholder engagement and governance administration, helping Council Members effectively fulfil their responsibilities.
Working in a fast-paced and politically sensitive environment, you'll act as a key liaison between Council Members, internal teams and external stakeholders. You'll also contribute to governance processes, maintain accurate records and registers, and support projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the Governance and Strategy team.

About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience providing executive or senior administrative support in a complex environment.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written communication skills, including the preparation of correspondence, reports and briefing materials.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- A high level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality, with experience working in a sensitive environment.
- A Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration (or related field) and/or equivalent demonstrated experience, together with advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Please be advised this is a permanent full-time opportunity with a starting salary at the Level 4 Classification commencing at $86,558 + 12% superannuation.
