About the Opportunity
As part of the Creative City team within the City Culture Program, the Adelaide Town Hall Support Officer plays an important role in keeping the day-to-day operations of this iconic venue running smoothly. You’ll provide administrative and client support to the team, helping coordinate bookings, manage event documentation and ensure a seamless experience for clients from enquiry through to delivery.
This is a highly varied role where no two days look the same. You’ll be the first point of contact for many enquiries, responding across phone, email and in person, while supporting the coordination and delivery of events. From raising invoices and managing purchase orders to maintaining records and reporting, you’ll ensure the administrative and financial side of operations is accurate, organised and efficient.
Working closely with internal teams, contractors and suppliers, you’ll help coordinate weekly rosters and ensure the right resources are in place for each event. This includes liaising with staging, cleaning, facilities, audiovisual and security providers, as well as supporting Front of House requirements to deliver a high-quality experience for every event held at Adelaide Town Hall.

About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in providing administrative and project management support.
- Experience in supporting the delivery of projects and development of supporting documentation and resources.
- Experience in utilising databases and maintaining and reporting statistics.
- Understanding and proactively assisting in the achievement of key Program team activities and goals.
- An awareness of Workplace Health and Safety issues, standards and actions in the workplace.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as required.
- Demonstrated high level skills in dealing confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
